What is this idea all about?
- I have setup this site (www.airdehumidifier.com) for almost a year but unfortunately, this site isn’t providing so much useful information to the user. When I first created this site, my idea is to
“… combine all the useful information over the internet, so that you can do your own research before deciding what to buy and where to buy.”
To be honest, I am not very satisfied with how things progress. I am expecting a lot more useful information that readers would “love” to read about. The problem is, I am not an expert and I can’t provide any in depth information about dehumidifiers except synthesizing all the information available.
“Why not ask your readers what they are actually looking for?”
This is what my little brother asked me when I talked to him. I will never know better than those who are actively looking for info on dehumidifier. By combining all our questions in one place, maybe we will come up with a good solution. There are many sites and forums where owners of dehumidifiers share their opinion on how good or bad the product is, but there is nowhere a potential buyer can talk to those owners and ask question (except from friends or forums). Here is the plan I have in mind:
1) YOU ask ANY question here about a specific dehumidifier you want to know more about.
2) I will then pick ONE of the sponsors (please refer to the “Why should YOU become a sponsor?” section to see how winner is selected), who are willing to share their opinion, here randomly to carry out a test about that dehumidifier.
3) The one who win the dehumidifier will then write a report about the dehumidifier. In return, the winner will keep the dehumidifier for free (if there is no sponsor) or at a very cheap price (if there is sponsor).
“Where is the money coming from?”
Ok, this site is making $50 - $60 each month and I will use those money + whatever I can do to support this event. For those of you who want to sponsor this event, you can send the money here to support.
Why should YOU become a sponsor?
- You will have the chance to win a dehumidifier. For every one dollar you donate, you have 1 out of N (total number) chance to win the dehumidifier. In other word, a sponsor who donates $10 is 10 times more likely (10 out of whatever the total number is) to win a dehumidifier than the one who donate just $1.
On one hand, you are getting a brand new dehumidifier for a very cheap price (whatever amount you donate) that you won’t see anywhere in the market. But on the other hand, you have to write a report about the dehumidifier.
This is a really good deal for those who love to share information with others and to grab a dehumidifier at a really low price.
For those who don’t want to donate:
You can ask question here about a specific model of dehumidifier you want to know more about. For those who ask question here (comment–> login –> write a question), you will have the chance to win a Humidity Meter for free (I will pick one reply randomly). All you need to do is to share your view.
Your reply should contain the following elements:1) Which model you want to learn more about (visit our main site www.airdehumidifier.com for more info)
2) Ask your question.
3) Say anything you want about this idea or this site.
4) Write something like “I want to be a sponsor” if you intend to become a sponsor. (You don’t have to donate right away. I just want to have a rough approximation on how many people will support this idea.)
